There are a number of devices and gadgets that can improve your van security and these are listed below. However there is also some common sense advice that it is always worth following.
Top five tips:-
| 1. | Firstly, never leave tools or materials in your van overnight. Insuring tools and expensive materials can be prohibitively expensive and secondly it makes the opportunist theft of the van or breaking in to it to steal the tools ever more likely. |
| 2. | Always ensure that your van is locked and secure all the doors every time you leave it unattended, even if this is just at the petrol station. Ideally fit lockable wheel nuts on all your wheels, especially if you have alloys and in addition fit a locking fuel cap. |
