Renault Vans
New Renault Vans Used Renault Vans Renault aftersales Renault is one of the market's leading van manufacturers, producing vehicles to include the Trafic, the Master, the Kangoo and the Clio van. Renault started producing cars in 1898 and vans in the 1960s - and so has learned to ensure that it not only sells a high volume of vehicles, but that it looks after is customers once the sales have been made. Perhaps this has been one of the reasons for Renault's longevity. Its Trafic van was introduced in the 1980s and has remained a staple of the light commercial vehicle market ever since. Furthermore, the Trafic picked up five consecutive victories as the Best Medium Van at Van Fleet World Honours. Keith Hawes, director of fleet and commercial vehicle sales with Renault UK, said; "It is testament to the enduring appeal of the Renault Trafic van that it has won this prestigious award for the fifth year in a row and is clearly still the van of choice for fleets." Renault, however, are not just about winning awards: "As a high quality commercial vehicle manufacturer, we understand just how important the logistical side of your business is." All owners of Renault Trafics and other vans are given access to the company's network of Van Service Centres, which helps owners feel secure that the reliability of their vans isn't a worry to their business. Renault promises that the centres all offer high quality maintenance and repair facilities to customers, as well as the right spare parts and in good time. Renault promises those who choose to use its centres that they will always be able to get immediate appointments for breakdowns, a follow up call within 48 hours to check that they are satisfied and transport assistance while their van is in the shop. In addition, all repairs done at the centres come with a one year guarantee. Furthermore, in order to make it easier for their customers to have their vans serviced, Renault has introduced a online booking service. Van owners can check their vehicles in for an MOT or repair on Renault's website and find out how much it will cost, what the availability is and the price of mechanical repairs at the same time. Users are required to register their details in order to safeguard their security and to allow the firm to tailor the service to the individual's specific requirements. What is more, those customers who show brand loyalty to Renault by having their annual MOT carried out at one of the manufacturer's centres can receive extra peace of mind with the firm's Xtra Assistance offer. Service centre repair work may also come at no cost to the van owners, if the issue is one that comes under the terms of the warranty. Under the Renault New Vehicle Warranty, which applies to all models bar the Espace, Trafic and Master registered from January 1st this year, all vans are covered by a three-year policy. In the first two years of the policy, there is an unlimited mileage package while in the third year the warranty only covers the first 60,000 miles. Trafic and Master vans registered after January 1st this year come with an unlimited mileage warranty for the first two years and the third year is covered for the first 100 miles driven. Renault also offers its customers the chance to insure all of their vans and provides a diverse range of policy options to reflect its customers' varying needs. It says: "At Renault Van Insurance, we understand the importance of offering a dedicated van insurance, which accommodates even the most dynamic of conversions and ticks all of your boxes." Renault promise customers access to a 24/7 accident recovery helpline, the return of their van to its pre-accident condition after repairs and a like-for-like replacement if the vehicle is written off in its first month of registration. Windscreens are covered by the manufacturer's policy and all repairs will be carried out in a Renault Approved Repair Centre using only genuine Renault parts. It seems that buying a Renault van is about more than just finding the right vehicle, but also selecting a motor that will keep a consumer as satisfied after the sale as when they are first collecting the keys. |
