EurotaxGlass celebrates 75 years guiding drivers © Adfero Ltd Used car guide EurotaxGlass' this month celebrates 75 years providing advice to drivers looking for a new vehicle. The guide was first published by motor engineer William Glass in 1933, dealing with vehicles such as the £145-valued Ford 10 De Luxe and advising car and van drivers as to the best price to pay. Some 75 years later and current managing editor Adrian Rushmore has stated that the times have changed. He said: "The guide editorial that accompanied the Riley valuation refers to businesses 'feeling the retarding effects of the impending election', but clearly prices were not under anything like the same pressure they have been over recent years." Last month, chief car editor at EurotaxGlass' Jeff Paterson remarked to the Times that sales of used convertibles are not selling as much as they usually do this year, based on figures from March and early June.
