Iveco Vans
New Iveco Vans Used Iveco Vans Iveco aftersales Iveco is a global company offering a wide spectrum of vehicles, including the award-winning Daily range of vans. The company cites its core values as transport safety, productivity on the road and environmental care. It states that leading-edge technology is used to ensure performance and safety, whilst also guaranteeing the productivity and reliability of its vehicles. Meanwhile, environmental care is assured by a continuous programme of green research. Iveco's latest Daily range of light commercial vehicles was crowned Best Light Truck 2008 in the Van Fleet World Honours for the second consecutive year. This comes after Daily was voted Van of the Year 2007 by What Van? magazine. Andrew Bucci, marketing director at Iveco, said: "Key to Daily's success in winning the Best Light Truck title two years in a row is its impressive load carrying capacity, with the range including the largest panel van available on the market, offering a load capacity of 17.2 metres squared." In order to enhance its reputation as a world-leading van manufacturer, Iveco realises that high-quality aftersales customer care is imperative. For customers in the UK, the company offers a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week roadside assistance programme, called Assistance Non-Stop. To support this, Iveco has set up a customer centre which is the first point of contact for anyone whose vehicle breaks down. The customer centre co-ordinates all roadside assistance activities from first contact to roadside repair or, where necessary, recovery to a franchised Iveco distributor. Every distributor has its own fully equipped workshop, trained technicians and parts warehouse. Drivers operating away from the UK in any EU country are also guaranteed support from the customer centre. The service is free for vehicles in their standard warranty period or those covered by an Iveco Ltd Repair and Maintenance contract. On contacting the customer centre, state-of-the-art geographical software will pinpoint the broken-down vehicle and within a matter of minutes a suitable distributor will be alerted to the driver's need for assistance. The customer centre keeps track of the assistance to ensure that down-time is kept to a minimum. Iveco states that from the moment a customer puts their vehicle on the road they will be on hand to maintain that vehicle in its peak working order. The company places great emphasis on ensuring that their dealer network has a high level of expertise and it has set up a dedicated training facility at Winsford in Cheshire in order to ensure this is the case. At this facility there are special workshops, major component displays and sophisticated riggs so that trainees are provided with genuine hands on learning opportunities. In addition to parts and sales training, Iveco also ensures that each dealership team develops management, product and sales expertise. This means that a customer's first contact with the company is a positive and reassuring experience. Specialised customer training is also available for operators with their own workshops. As well as a team of highly-trained staff, every Iveco dealership has Electronic Advanced System (Easy), a form of specialised diagnostic equipment. Easy allows expert technicians to perform swift but extensive diagnostic operations on a vehicle in a workshop or, if necessary, at the roadside. The system communicates electronically with the vehicle via a dedicated diagnostics port so that a detailed examination of a vehicle's on-board electronic control units can be conducted. State-of-the-art diagnostic tools mean that any problem can be pinpointed and repaired as quickly as possible, allowing customers to get back on the road with the minimum amount of disruption to their business. Iveco offers customers a choice of repair and maintenance contracts. These contracts allow costs to be spread over the whole life of a vehicle so that there are no unexpected expensive repairs. Customers can expect predictable, monthly costs which make budgeting straight forward. Furthermore, vehicle owners get the piece of mind that comes with knowing that their van will always be serviced and repaired using Iveco approved parts. All repair and maintenance contracts are available from 12 to 72 months and, before they expire, customers are given the opportunity to extend. Customers can choose between maintenance only or repair and maintenance contracts. Iveco it would seem take pride in offering the very highest levels of aftersales care, so customers who buy their award-winning vans can be confident that, for as long as they are driving an Iveco vehicle, they will benefit from the company's top-class technology and expertise. |
